Curious about Comida?
"Comida" means "meal" in espanol. We have found some very interesting foods here in Mexico. The first 2 pictures are of a fruit called lichee. It is actually a Chinese fruit. Once the "hairy" outside is peeled off, a juicy white grape-like fruit is inside. The flesh of the "grape" is very sweet! The next picture is of a fruit we ate at the Tepoztlan market. We can't remember the name of it, but you suck on the cotton-like seeds to get out the sweet nectar. The final picture is of "chicharon." Basically, this is melted manchego cheese that is rolled up into a cylinder! It's muy rico!
